Recently I have been working on a new felt piece which looks through how we can so easily link and compare ourselves to animals when thinking through our growth throughout our lives. This led me to look into the stag to show the fight and my own personal growth since University. I have wet felted Welsh Wool and used gentle pink colours to show the purity at the start of this growth, going into bright oranges in the antlers and the beads to represent becoming stronger and bolder in life. Sewn onto the felt is natural pearl water pearls, beaded on like leaves carefully shadowing the deer. I hope you enjoy this piece, and I will soon be adding onto this collection.

I have just restarted the blog on the website and will continue to add to this if your support continues.
