Bore da pawb. I hope you have all had an amazing Easter and have scoffed lots of Easter eggs. Today I am sharing with you an inspirational artist I went to University with, who still continues to surprise me with his realistic and detailed drawings. Gary Mc Shane who is based in Cork, Ireland creates stunning portraits using charcoal and pencils. He chooses his imaginary using a keen eye for current trends from films, tv shows and sporting moments currently going on in the World. He also looks back and chooses icons from the past which still have a impact on most of us today. He shows the continuation of how each piece is made on his facebook group so you are able to see the journey to create one of these masterpieces. He is running workshops for drawing in Ireland (which I am currently still unhappy about as I wish they were closer to home). I would seriously suggest going to these classes if you are in that area at the times needed.
Thank You for the inspiring work Gary and keep going, these are incredible.
Hwyl fawr pawb.
