I gave you the treat of a sneak preview of some current work I have been making last week and I would like to thank all those people on my various social media platforms for getting back to me with their thoughts and opinions. It really did make my week to get feedback. Today I will be taking you back to 2011 for the Fire Blast work. This time I will be sharing my epaulette piece with some amazing photography from Steve Mcdonald. This art piece has been shown in fashion shows as well as The NewAshgate Gallery in Surrey, Carmarthen School of The Arts and New Designers in London. Made with hand dyed, wet and needle felted Welsh wool, had knitted wire, beading and teeswater fleece.
I would also like to thank my amazing model who was standing on the wall with a sheer drop on the other side with heels on, on a very windy and wet Welsh day. The memory of this makes me laugh as well as smile at how brave and professional she is.
I hope you enjoy :-) Have a fab week!
