It's New Years Eve and I am sure many of you are getting ready to go out or spend time with your loved ones so I appreciate you reading this post. I want to thank everyone for the support they have shown to my career so far, and inspiring me to continue to create Artwork. Knowing there is people out there following your work helps boost you up on even the worst of days.
This New Year I intend to continue to develop my Art Work as well as to become more involved with the Art World by writing blog posts, connecting with new artists, galleries and going to more events within these galleries. I am again doing an evening course to continue to expand my Art skills. (As we are never too old to learn!)
I have a new ongoing project that I may soon post some previews off, as I am finding it really exciting. For now though I will post my Showing Off Like a Peacock piece for my weekly blog post. Made out of felt, different types of yarn, wool and thread, sequins and real peacock feathers. This piece is all about indulgence, on finding that confidence within yourself to show off your best attributes. This is one of my favorite pieces I have made so far because of the irresistible to stroke texture that has been created. I hope you all like it too.
Have an amazing New Year Everyone and stay safe.
